Members are participants that interact/transact on the Network. For enterprise blockchain apps, members may choose to host their own Canopy node or interact with a node hosted and maintained in a shared service network managed by a RiskStream Network Services Provider partner. Regardless of how the ledger nodes or other platform elements are managed, the Member maintains ownership of their private data.

Providers are participants that support the Network services in some way, either interacting directly with RiskStream as a contractor for services on behalf of all Members, or by interacting with a selection of members directly.
Examples of Providers include:
Core Systems Providers
Software Developers
Platform Providers
Third Party Administrations
Analytics
Provider Startups
Collaborators are entities that are connected to the Network to provide or consume information necessary to support/advise Members or provide services to Members in the normal course of services they provide to customers. Collaborators are often impacted by the interactions as their customers are Network Participants.

Legal Entities
Banks
Rental Car Companies
Auto Collision Centers
Medical Services Entities
Energy Companies
Others
Non-Profits comprise a variety of organizations such as research and educational, data standards, technology, or insurance industry organizations that support the Network and partner or cooperate with RiskStream.
Examples of Non-Profits include:
Associations (e.g., LIMRA, APCIA, ICISA, SFAA, NASBP)
Academia (Villanova University)
Consortia (MOBI)
Civics are entities that provide oversight/governance and regualtory management to the insurance industry at the state or federal level. RiskStream works with these entities to ensure that its product/services meet the necessary regulatory, statutory, and legal requirements of conducting business within a jurisdiction and at times may also create applications to improve Member interaction with them.
Examples of Civics include:
Regulators (e.g., NAIC)
Governments
Departments (e.g., Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Department of Health)
